 Poorly shielded power supply causes interference September 2, 2010

This power supply is so poorly shielded that it will actually cause the video cable to stop displaying the video if placed near the cable! Although this is shaped and sized like the original Nintendo power supply it is a cheap knock-off! It will power the Wii properly but the interference with the video signal is not worth the money saved!
 So happy my Wii was not fried August 18, 2010

I thought that our Wii was fried after a lightning storm ... purchased this in hopes that just the cord/ power supply was ruined. Was so happy that this got us up and running again! NO problems with the quality of the product so far.. Only had it two weeks but seems to be just fine!

Ordered this product just to have an extra Wii power cord for travel. When we received it, it seemed strangely lightweight to be a working power cable, but nonetheless I tried it every way in several outlets. The cord isn't working. And sure enough, it's an empty dummy cable, mocked up to look like the Wii power cord. DO NOT BUY THIS "cable" OR ANY OTHER ITEM FROM THIS SELLER.

This product is not adequately shielded. My TV screen is covered with snow - probably from a motor, like one of my aquarium pumps. I don't recommend this item.

My power supply went out so I came to Amazon and found one and they sent one really fast. It works great and I am back to playing my games.
